Timings, magnitudes and visibility notes are written for northern mid-latitudes and checked as carefully as amateurs can manage, but they are not an ephemeris and they will contain errors. Never observe the Sun without equipment designed and certified for solar observing — improvised filters cause permanent blindness. We accept no liability for damage to equipment or eyesight arising from following anything on this site.
We sell nothing, host no advertising and take no affiliate commission. Where a piece of equipment is named it is because we or someone we observe with own it.
Text and images here are ours unless stated otherwise. Reproducing whole pages on another site without permission is not permitted; quoting with attribution is.
This is a hobby site run at our own expense. It may be offline, slow, or out of date without notice, and we make no promise of continuity.
